When you come to us for Traditional Chinese medical treatments, you will be given an initial consultation. The primary focus is usually on the main complaint, or condition which is to be treated. The consultation will also include questions about your symptoms, your state of mind and lifestyle. It also includes a thorough examination of your body, especially a tongue examination.
After this initial consultation, our TCM practitioners will formulate a diagnosis and treatment plan for you. This is done according to your individual condition and constitution. The treatment will be followed with a combination of Chinese Medicine therapies. These will energise and bring your body back to harmony and equilibrium, thus allowing healing to take place.
Additional services include the provision of tailored consultations, both private and group, to meet customers specific health and rehabilitation needs, thus allowing customers to implement certain practices and personalised nutrition plans at home. MBS Centre’s rehabilitation services will specialise in the treatment of chronic pain, respiratory conditions and palliative care.
Consultation is structured upon ancient Chinese practices concerning fundamental health principles, in which the customer is guided towards achieving optimal balance of mind, body and soul. Traditional training methods, focused on energy levels, body alignment, nutrition and lifestyle, organ health and detoxification, will be implemented.

This ancient practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a popular form of alternative medicine for treating a variety of health conditions, most commonly pain relief. Treatment is believed to stimulate the central nervous system to release chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord and brain. The subsequent biochemical changes that take place are believed to stimulate the body’s natural healing abilities and improve overall physical and mental wellbeing.
Treatment will be performed by a licensed acupuncturist and consists of thin, solid, metallic needles penetrating the skin to trigger specific points on the body. These trigger points will then be activated through gentle and specific movements of the needles by the practitioner’s hands.
Acupressure £1000/session (60 min)

Based on the practice of acupuncture, and often used in conjunction with this treatment, acupressure is an alternative medicine technique based on the concept of a life energy flow, or Qi, through meridians in the body. The practitioner will apply pressure to specific acupoints on the body using their fingers, palms, elbows or tools instead of needles.

Standing meditation, also known as zhan zhuang, is a mindfulness practice that involves assuming and maintaining specific postures while standing upright.
Unlike seated meditation, where the practitioner assumes a seated position, standing meditation encourages practitioners to find stillness within the dynamic realm of movement.
The Acupuncture Approach of Standing Meditation
Standing meditation draws inspiration from traditional Chinese medicine and the concept of meridians, or energy pathways, within the body.
This practice aligns with the principles of acupuncture, where specific points on the body are targeted to restore balance and enhance well-being.
By assuming various postures during standing meditation, practitioners activate specific acupuncture points, stimulating the flow of vital energy or qi throughout the body.
Tai Chi lessons and sessions will be included as part of general wellness assessments and sessions.
Apprentice programme £3000+/program
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as martial arts, it is common practice for enthusiasts to seek out the training, tuition and mentoring of a master and, thereby, become students or apprentices of that master. These are often referred to as disciples. The Company will offer the experience of Master Sun, as a master, to such apprentices or disciples.
For international on-site visits, a standard service day rate charge of £5,000 applies. This fee covers the professional services provided during the visit and is exclusive of transportation costs, which will be calculated separately based on the travel requirements.
